What is the supreme language, at least, of the major ones?
I know I didn't use all the most widely spoken, but I tried to pick ones that some people are familiar with.

Define 'supreme'?

well of course, the launguge that the most powerful country uses;)

supreme -
1. Greatest in power, authority, or rank; paramount or dominant.
2. Greatest in importance, degree, significance, character, or achievement.
3. Ultimate; final: the supreme sacrifice.

all in all, defines ENGLISH quite well :D

mmmm.... outer mongolian?

It would be hypocritical of me to answer anything other than English, given that it is the language of this multinational forum. ;)

i voted english also cause we can say thunder

African American Vernacular English be tight

English, obviously. Other languages are more common (Mandarin, Hindi and arguably Spanish), but no language is currently more universal.

I'd vote serbian because we can say grom.

English is becomming a common tongue, that I can really get behind, the whole world talking in a common language can't be a bad thing, one day we might have this situation we're not that far off now. But then English may be a meeker nation these days, but you can't help but be amazed at just how far we spread this bastardised tongue :)

i thought hindu was a religion:hmm:

No Arabic

No Portuguese

No Hindi

No Urdu (Which is really the same as Hindi, I think)

No Japanese

No Indonesian

No Persian

No Tamil

You really missed a lot of big ones. This poll sucks.
