Last expansion?

I'd add that

• Civ VI made the leap from 32-bit to 64-bit.
• Computer processors and graphics aren't getting better by leaps and bounds as fast as they used to.

So, there is more elbow room to expand and there isn't as much reason to start over with a clean slate as often.

I think FXS would be better off releasing incremental DLCs with new civs, scenarios, wonders, etc. as they did after the release of Civ6. Alternative leaders to existing civs seems particularly ripe.

I feel that the game mechanics and systems are pretty deep, but could be tweaked here and there with continual patch support. I would also imagine that balance patches, leaders/civs, wonders, etc. are easier to keep continuity between platforms (iPhone, Switch) than a whole new expansion pack with new game systems.

I also think there is some improvement potential for multiplayer and competitive play. Maybe that would warrant a 3rd expansion.
