Is there ayb way, as in the old forum, to see a person's last post? I try to click on "See all posts by this member" and it tells me I do not have the priviledge to access it. Is there any way of doing this?

I know no matter what happens with search someone will complain, but is it possible to barely enable it? I remember before the upgrade we were limited to searches every two minutes...could it be made ten minutes? Ten hours even?Thunderfall said:It most likely will stay off. It says "showing the last post on a member profile can cause large table scans which leads to table locking. This may increase load time on your forums as well as the load of your server. "Moss321 said:That stinks. Why does it take up so many resources?
A feature like this is active at another forum I visit. It does slag down load time and is generally worthless anyway. If it's like the one I know, the links coughed up would be hilarious. Someone could surf a summer olympics thread and wind up clicking on the next "topical" thread and find directions on how to mod a Hoplite. (Both threads would be "similar" because they're about Greece...)Thunderfall said:There are other nifty features that we can't take advantage of, like the Similar Thread search feature that shows a list of similar threads at the bottom of a thread.
