As for Mid East, well its mostly Turkey, Israel, Iraq, Arabia, Katar and few other oil rich countries. Rest like Iran and more to the east are not much said about. Mostly what I heared of them was that Osama ben Laden hides there, Iran has chemical and bio weapons, loves war (i belive that TV news told us[me] that it was Iran that decleared war on Iraq, still odnt know the truth, never checked it), are in war with Russia, have very strong Islamic law (clan or caste wars, women lower than cattle, cant even eat them...) and such.
My knowlage is restricted, to what i was told, and what i read in internet. Thats why i put this super rich sultans. Never had time, or rather ambition, and are not as much interested in that region.

Off topic. I was under the impression that Hussein invaded Iran for the opportunity present(Iran had little military at the time of invasion) and for fear of the Shia message spreading to Iraq, inciting a possible Shia rebellion.

Dude no offense, but you guys in Poland seem to have even less knowledge about Middle East than the Americans. And thats quite hard to do. I assume rather that you are a very young person who actually couldn't have read so much as you pretend to have, otherwise you would have known that the stuff you are counting here are pure none sense and only a very uneducated person would believe things that Osama was hiding in Iran. (Iran hated Taliban and supported the North Alliance 6 years long fighting Taliban and holding the northern border of Afghanistan. How could possibly Osama hide in Iran? lol) Or that Iran invaded Iraq? lol Where did you read that? It was Saddam who invaded Iran after the Revolution of 1979, since he was afraid of a spread of Shia revolution in his country and he thought he could cut Khuzestaan province (ethnic arabs) from iran and gain more land to Persian Gulf.

Sultan is a Turkish term. Iran never had any Sultan. Even though according to Islamic Law, Iranians could have 4 wives, this is only in the theory. In my entire life I have never seen any Iranian with more than 1 wife.

Iran has no chemical or bio weapons. If Iran had it, it would have been used in Iran - Iraq War.

"Caste war" ?? lol Iranians are no hindus. Nor are there any Clans. (iran is not Afghanistan). So as you can see not 99% but 100% of your comments were bull dust.

This is absolutely correct what you are saying. This bastard has invaded Iran and killed over 1.2 mio Iranians. I lost a cousin in war due chemical weapons. Do you guys like to see how it looks like when a Chemical weapon hits you? believe me its not nice to see. I am happy to see Saddam hanged.

No offence taken, exept thing that I was not told much if Mid East, exept terrorist, Al-Khaida and US in Iraq. I knew that Saddam invaded Iran, but never knew actually who deleared it, and thats what i meant.

We have less knowlage (atleast I and all that were in my class/school), becouse we are told how great Poland is. We werent told much of our defeats or lost battles. Exept such battles as Westerplate, as this one is "glorious" defeat. For instance, i have learned more about French history from Hian the Forgs posts/replies than from school (dont even remember year of their Revolution, as itw as mentioned only once).

My knowlage of Persia was like a guy said in Cyrus_the_great.wmv. History is written by victors. In my youth i was in awe if Alexander the Great. Well Persians were barbarians, offspring of Devil, sworn enemies of Democracy and Justice and Law. Like what I learned in school ? Was 10 or 11 yrs old. Also Cristian church had big infuance on me back than. It was bad that Muslims killed cristians, but it was good that cristians put heretics into small cells and starved them to death(to save their soul). That also made me less willing to read/learn about mid east.

As for my age im 20. 27th last month was my nameday (something simillar to b-day, but that depends on country customs). Im no longer on drugs/alcohol/ciggarets almost 3 years now. Today im trying to find motivation to do anything. I have ambition and abilities, but no "reason" to even try to do anything. So far best motivation is being bored

You brought up an interesting point about Greek Democracy. I will get back to this point, I think you would like that other point of view.

Beta 3 is finished. I am knackered. Poor Mexico was helping until late hours as well. He has still to finish 3 african units and I have to improve the map regarding the new civs abit. (give them a bit more starting resources).

Everything else is finished....Tomorrow evening we start to upload it then...

Well i havent posted in your forum ever and i have reasons.

I have been dissapointed with ALL of the mods except for FFH.

And i think your mod may be the only one besides Fall from Heaven that has the quality other mods lack.

I really REALLY support your decision not to add TONS of other civs. I hated that in other mods with a passion.

And i hated the new traits that sevomod had. They were UNBALANCING. I dont like many new civics in Visa mod because they were unbalancing.

I am looking forward to the release tonight and i hope its coming because im bored.

By the way keep in mind never put something realistic in if it ruins gameplay.

Sure. You are right. Sometimes too much means too bad, too ugly, too unbalanced...

Don't be afraid ! All that we add is clearly not unbalanced. Most of the new add-ons are linked to the history, background and famous people of each civs... But i shut up, you will test.

I hope you will like, it took a long (too long) time to do but i'm happy (at that time) that it improves the mod.

PS: I know about FfH2. I had helped Kael few monthes. Good mod.

Thank you for your nice comment. It is really coming encouraging. At the time I am writing this Beta 3 is being uploaded. It should be ther in 2 hours or so.

We have put so much work in Beta 3. I hope you guys will be satisfied. Like always there is a lack of good promotion. We won't implement anything new in this mod until the gold version. This is practically the gold version. BUt if there are some bugs we would like to kow about them and fix them for Gold. Have fun playing Beta 3.

You will be surprised by the Ethnically diverse Great people and Great Generals (872 great people)....the possibility of getting Generals by fighting against Barbarians and Animals...Barbarians get now Great generals too when fighting you....new units,....new unique units....religions completely reworked, new bonuses for temples....new inquisition that is also used by AI, adjusted promotions values, fixed trade screen CTD (favorite religion problem), added Flying mod, improved XML loading time and startup loading time, updated civpedia....

Gosh, just play it and figure out for yourselves.

In this week we will be working on FAQ Website and promotion.

you are right - this is also reason why we don't have add every existing mod (as some peoples wants and request )
we know that there is still some not well balanced components (like demolition unit and assassin), but we are working on it

and for bored and inpatient peoples: right now i am uploading mod to SourceForge (installer has 122MB ), but upload is slower as i expect - estimated time about 2:30 hours - here is late midnight (0:40 AM) and i am so tired to wait next 2 hours
so beta3 will be available tomorrow morning (GMT) : about 8 hours from now

How is asking for a Patch Changelog which is not available or viewable on any other of the pages here a silly question?

If it's available, fine. If not, also fine. But the question itself is a sensible one.

About FFH and TR, I couldn't agree more. That mod's also pretty good. TR has a metric sh!tload of potential, and it's looking better all the time. Sevo's also not too bad.

I want to thank you guys for this fast adaption on Warlords. I have waited for weeks to play this new TR version and i hope it reached at least the level of the vanilla version.

I loved this mod on first sight because i am one of these guys who are very interested in history.I think your mod includes more realistic historical mechanisms than any other mod and therefor makes the game more realistic.

For now i am satisfied and only hope my pc won't be to slow with 24 civs but it will be worth the waiting.

Started a game as Carthage this morning. The mod is rock solid so far. The barbarian behaviour is very interesting. They seem more intelligent and instead of mindlessly pillaging stuff they come with several good units and take cities. Their level of tech seems to be more advanced as well.
Thanks guys for great mod. Will report back more later.
