Leaderhead Database and Request thread

Oh I missed it... Sorry...

I like to stay away from reskins, but you redone his tonga, so it counts. All 3 will be added shortly. :)

You forgot to add Louis XIV's picture in the gallery.:) He is my favourite leader, so I couldn't help but not to mention this.
And, a more serious thing- the link you made to my Henrique the Navigator is wrong- it does link to my thread, but not to the front page. It linked to a place where I uploaded a temporary version for Ekmek to work on. The LH itself is on the main page of my thread with all the others.

Yah, I know. To lazy to put him in. :lol:

I'm also aware. I'm going to be downloading your Henrique soon as I'm putting it as a new leader for Portugual in my (personal) mod, so i'll fix it than. :)

I got a request, but he isn't a actual leader, but hey, It's my civ game, I can put the leaders I want in it.

I also want to tell you right now this is just for personal use, I'm not putting him in a mod or anything.

Sun-Tzu

(All it is a Statue, but you can really see the details)
I think the best base is Qin Shi Huang (Perferably reskinned version for the hat, but normal would do).
Kulubi Khan is needed for Beard, you could possibly use Tokugawa's tunic if you wanted, but I'd stick with Qin Shi Huang's if I were were you. Feel free to add other leader's parts if you deem nessercary (I want the modder to put his own touch to it, same with next one).
Along with the fore-mentioned beard and hat, maybe a Sword in a sheath and some Bamboo scrolls would be nice (He could be reading them when asking for a deal or somthing)
I'd go with a universal Brown for the color of the tunic and hat. You could also use Qi's national color in the Chinese Unification Mod (Which I can't remember and I lost my Warlords CD (Why can't you play Warlord Mods on BTS, I'll never get)) for the tunic and hat, too.
Maybe Qin's background minus the Great Wall (Wasn't built when he lived) would do. If impossible to edit out (I think it is), then just an empty grassland, please.
Once again, Qin.

What about Tomàs Torquemada ?
The great spanish inquisitor of 1400s...

It was not Juan Sepuvuelda who was other member of Torquemada's family...

On Wikipedia, it has a portrait of him...

You know, we have Prussian leaders, Holy Roman leaders Nazi German leaders, German Empire leaders and West German leaders. I think we're missing somebody to represent East Germany!

Does someone know how to modify the sort of the LHs for a civilization? In my italian mod I have Mussolini as first leader; I want to put him as last; I have tried to edit the <Leaders> tags in my CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml file but it doesn't work..

Thank you in advance!

Edit: SORRY!!! OFF TOPIC!!!

Do you mean alphabetically? It depends on the order of the LHs in CIV4LeaderHeadInfos. Try putting Mussolini after the leader you want to be first in this file.

I mean when I clic on "Italian Empire" in Civilopedia and in the "select a civilization" screen when I start a new game.
In my mod I have three different CIV4LeaderHeadInfos files, one for each leader..
In CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml are listed the LHs of that civilization. The first is Lorenzo the Magnificent, the second is the Count of Cavour, the third is Mussolini.

Spoiler :

<Leaders>
<Leader>
<LeaderName>LEADER_LORENZO</LeaderName>
<bLeaderAvailability>1</bLeaderAvailability>
</Leader>
<Leader>
<LeaderName>LEADER_CAVOUR</LeaderName>
<bLeaderAvailability>1</bLeaderAvailability>
</Leader>
<Leader>
<LeaderName>LEADER_MUSSOLINI</LeaderName>
<bLeaderAvailability>1</bLeaderAvailability>
</Leader>
</Leaders>

But in civ4 the order is: Mussolini, Cavour, Lorenzo..

the order is NOT set in civ4civilizationInfos.xml.

you have to modify civ4leaderheadinfos.xml - the leaderhead list will not be alphabetically anymore. there is no other way.

Speaking of which, I presume that to edit it so when you click the 'Leaderhead' dropdown, so that your new leaderheads are sorted alphabetically with all leaderheads (So.. Akbar at the top, followed by Alexander etc.) you need to create one universal 'Civ4leaderheadinfos' including all of your new leaderheads, and copy and paste that one into all of the costum leaderhead folders.

It is better to create just one file with all the LHs in the game (including Firaxis ones)- this way you'll have alphabetical order (or any other order you want, actually).

Yah. Do you need to copy and paste it to every Costum Civ/Leaderhead folder though?

This is what I'm saying- make only one folder- like in the vanilla game. You need to copy all the XML files of the game and add all the custom content to them.

Sun-Tzu

Here you have Sun Tzu.

The background is the Great Wall of Qi, built during the Spring and Autumn period. Tunic is Qi-coloured.

Could anybody make a Leon Trotsky leaderhead perhaps? That would be moresome. You could use Lincoln as your base, and mix in bits of roosevelt for glasses maybe, and that dutch guy for more facial hair.
