Leaderhead Database and Request thread

Ehm.. as I said, I have three different CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml files, one for each leaderhead. I know that if I want to sort my LHs as I want, I must merge those files in one; but the doubt is: how does the game sort the LHs in modular xml when you have different CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml files?

I guess the answer is: we don't know. I think it depends on the order you installed the LHs if you didn't install them all in the same time.:dunno:
 
That's because Kings or Monarchs get first name titles (Joao, Isabella, Louis XIV) and other leaders get their full names or last names (Washington, Gandhi).

I assume it is load order (much like it is if they are all in one file).

First then are the default LHs, then come all the additional ones, depending on subdir and filename (as those influence load order).
 
Hmm, out of curiosity I was looking through the Colonization creation and costumization and the modders there have made several leaderheads for Colonization which can in term be used for Civ IV. :)

I will add them to the database tomorrow.

If you are referring to the "Sundiata Keita" LH I used in my mod Diplomacy, that appears in most mods as Askia, and I have no idea who made it. But I'm pretty sure it appears in Civ Gold. I'd reupload my mod but its for 3.17 and FileFront takes forever for upload, so it would be a giant waste of my time to do that. If you want me to post it I can, but if you already have CivGold I'd appreciate it if you found it for yourself. Although if you can't I'd be happy to post it, and perhaps I should just put it up in the database so we don't have to deal with this again.

No there is no need for that. I already have him in my mod.

I was looking for him in the database and just couldn't find him. I used CivGold's version.
 
Request for 3 LHs in one pop... sorry to be greedy. I will be adding these to civs I have made, except for the last one, which is just for the Byzantines to have another option than Justinian...
Anyhow, I would be happy to do all the XMLing...

You know what? I take my comment from the other thread regarding we are running out of leaders back. We are not, We are only maybe running out of kings for nations. There are still plenty of other leaders to do, like famous generals and national heroes.
 
Nothing. I'm using it already! I'm talking about Ekmek's leaderhead, Atotoztli. She was to minor of a leader for inclusion Imo.

Two Aztec Leaders could probably be included. Moctezuma the I (or II, I don't know which one is in the game. :crazyeye:) and Ahuitzotl.

The Montezuma in the game is the second Montezuma (at least according to his Civilopedia article). Now, for Atototzli- I am using her as a Mayan leader- Lady Xoc. If you are interested I can send you her xml and the picture I use as her BG.

I'm going to be happy with my Mesoamerican choices, I will have
Aztec - Monte, Itzcoatl y one other (Other Monte or Ahuitzotl)
Maya - Pacal, Smoke Jaguar, Lazy Xoc,
Toltec - Topiltzen
Zapotec - someone unnamed.

4 Mesoamerican civilizations with tons of leaders. Nearly as much attention as the Middle East and Mesopatamia!

Isn't it time we had a modern Zulu leader. Now that SA has a Zulu president, we can use Jacob Zuma.

We can base him on Churchill. He should definitely use Mansa's animations, but that may require giving him a new skeleton.

Come to think of it, more modern-day leaders would be useful for a modern-day mod. (We have Obama and Ahmadinejad already, among others I may have forgotten).
 
I'm talking present-day leaders, though.
