We've all told about our favorite Conquests. Let's see which one is liked the least.

Oh yeah, stupid me  forgot Sengoku, so if it's your least favorite, just say so in the thread. :o :o :o

Added.

I definately think that Mesopotamia is just a introduction to the concept of Conquests and I like it the least.

I dont like mesoamerica. There's sumthin about it that i dont know...

Mesoamerica. It was great in the beginning but tedious in the end...

BTW: You forgot SENGOKU - Sword of the Shogun or whatever it is called.

Well, one of my most favorites is Mesoamerica ( :hmm: ). But anyways...I don't really like Mesopotamia that much. ;)

WWII for me. Kind of short and tedious island hoping.

Mespotamia is actually one of my favorites now.

Fall of Rome is my least favorite. I always fall behind the tech race, even on Warlord, and it just gets boring after a while.

Mesopotmia is too ez to be fun(i eaisly built all wonders, no stress at all). WWII isn't short...sure it,S '50' turns..but a turn cn alst like 10-15minutes(which makes thi map still long)

Fall of Rome, because you can't play as Rome. Also when playing I hate starting far from the actual kingdoms, the Vandals don't start close to Carthage. Although I suppose it's justified.

Age of Discovery is very boring. The AI can´t play this good so it is always a win for the human players. (It is getting even easier with the free palace jump).

To add my two cents, Rise of Rome is probably the best. I played all so far except Napoleonic Europe (playing right now) and WW2 Pacific (but this one seems interesting, too)

Fall of Rome. I like playing the scenarios and trying to change history. The fact you can't play as either the Western or Eastern Empire really bummed me out.

Abgar,

Actually, where the Vandals start is fine. Many, if not most of the tribes featured in Fall of Rome migrated unbelievable distances (many driven by the Huns). The Vandals were driven west through central Europe, down through Spain, across to Africa, and finally settled where you're expecting to find them. It's just where they lived last.

I think it's strange to us because we're used to the notion of nations and borders.

I actually wish it was more plausible in Fall of Rome to mimic those sorts of migrations. As is, you plant your settler and you're stuck.

BTW, I think Rise of Rome is really a great Conquest. All Civs are fun and have potential. And you have to love the elephants...

I found the Age of Discovery a bit boring. I won long before the game ended. Though the fact that I won as Spain in 1588 was nice, though.

Napoleonic Europe is fun, but a bit land-orientated. You're hardly going to have a Trafalgar.

Sengoku is fun, though I wish there were no war council (of course, you can shut it off). Not sure about ninjas either.

Mesopotamia, I played as Egypt. You're given the best choke point at the Sinai peninsula. Plant a city, a bunch of spears, and build your wonders. I suspect other civs are more difficult.

Still waiting for the endurance for WWII.

My two cents.

That would be Napoleonic Europe (don't really know anything about other countries in that time except France), or WW2 in Pacific.
