Legendary Earth Mod (LEM)

one of the worst maps ive ever encountered, im playing as china and each time i restart the game to end up in the proper spot for my civ, i always get alaska, scandinavia, east coast US, middle east, india, south america and south africa.
i wont even tick "load scenario" because YOU FORGOT TO ENABLE QUICK MOVEMENT

Sounds like your problem for not knowing how to use the editor or how to enable realistic start :)

Is anyone encountering the problem of this mod not showing up in the mods list? Is it not compatible with the newest patch?

I want to play this map but please tell me how to change victory settings because I want only domination victory???

Hello, I used to love this map in vanilla civ, I now purchased all the expansions and updated this map only to find that the Americas are empty. Is there any way we can play civs that start in the New World?

As a side note, I don't really understand this change, why only Old World civs and leave such a huge landmass with only city states? I'm kind of disappointed :(.

After a long hiatus from Civ 5 (with some Civ 3 played during that time) I'm back to working on this map and would like to release soon the version that has additional luxuries and religions.

Here's my last play through as Portugal:

Won a Diplomatic Victory. :) The sun truly never set on the Portuguese Empire, outside of my core European cities I had colonies in Greenland, the Atlantic islands, central America, the Galapagos, northern Africa, central Africa, Madagascar, India, maritime southeast Asia and east Asia (including the Chinese mainland and Japanese archipelago). It was a fun game, especially since a couple of the AI (England and Germany) did some overseas colonizing.

No time table on a release, just wanted to let you all know I was back to working on it.

Still think you should find a way to add American civs back in :p

I've actually decided to give it a shot since there's always been such a demand...not sure if it'll make it into this release. The hardest part is determining a list of civilizations to utilize for the Old World if I choose to place all of the native civilizations with Brazil and America in the New World (that's 7 slots taken up).

Alternatively, you could add in 3 or 4 New World civs and transplant a few more old world city-states instead. So you don't have to remove as many Old World civs.

I really like the geographic balance of the Old World, but I get tired of seeing all that unsettled New World space in 1950 :p

Did my first play through on the map today...elected to just place the native civilizations in the New World (so Iroquois, Shoshone, Maya, Aztec and Inca). Things seem pretty balanced so far, I just have to do some tinkering with the Old World civs to strike the right balance.

Also, coming up with religions for the native civilizations has been a pain in the butt thus far.

How to disable time,science... victory in this scenario???I want only domination victory. Please help,I really want to play this scenario

Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK - launch it - open World Builder - wait for it to load - Load Map

Map has been updated to version 7, sorry for the long wait! I hope you all enjoy it. :)

Big changes include a third version of the map (with playable civilizations in the New World), new/redistributed luxuries and new religions.

Well, that will delay my migration to random maps for another year or so :p

Excellent work!

Apparently, resource icons in the Strategic View are all jumbled.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I assume it has something to do with the addition of the new resources...

Is there another way to change the victory conditions without World Builder? Or is it possible to access World Builder with the Mac App store version?

I've tried loading Legendary Earth Map 3 on version 7 and each time a random civ gets placed in South America, like Persia in the screenshot attached (was Venice and Portugal before). Any way to fix this?

You don't have the Spain/Inca DLC so it's replacing the Inca with a random civ.
