Not 1700 AD, but I do not have a preference between the others. 3000 BC seems more interesting due to the variability in China.

In some games of mine, i failed the goal to control Indochina because someone settled a city between India and Indochina, north to the rice, surrounded by jungle tiles. Impossible to reach from Hanoi and no time to get it from Kolkata.

Can I suggest you rotate continents/regions? So that, for example, you don't play a civ from the same region as one you played in the last 3 games? I think that would you give a broader overview of what happens in the world and would inspire you to make changes everywhere instead of on just the more popular and traditional Civilization civs.

And for next round I'd propose to have Kongo in the poll.
