Well, he wanted to be 'in the know'... :mischief:

No it's not. That's exactly what he wanted to know about. :)

Edit: Now I'm starting to wonder about what you guys say about me... Or worse, as Dralix said, you don't say anything about me! ;)

Proffesional? Are some of us getting paid?

What? I get paid, and I'm just a mere poster. Most posters with 2500+ posts and are here for least a year get paid. You don't get paid, though?

I think you should have a long talk with TF about this.:D

china444 has his own personal thread in the mod forum that was opened on February 3rd and here is an example of the document opened on February 9th when china444 got his first ban for deliberately spamming the forums to inflate his post count so he could play with his avatar:

Hmm...thats febuary right? what month is it again? JULY! why would you need to bring up something so old to this thread? you could of just said what everyone else said such as a humorous response or a straigh down, easy answer. Why on every single thread i make, someone has to mention something that happened in Febuary or march? I see it just as a way to pick on me, a 12 year old kid, who didnt MEAN to 'spam' up the forums to get high postcount, I just cant put the exact 'touch' on my posts as a 30 year old can who is much more educated, and I posted alot of stuff in the Civ3 forum because i didnt want to go in the OT forum, thinking that my stuff would be shot down.

So when I do go into the Ot forum, one of the first replies I get is 'Oh werent you that guy who spammed up Civ3 GD?', so instead of saying what i am saying right now, i followed along making myself the 'Spam Man', so I could laugh along WITH you guys instead of you laughing AT me.

Just throw me a goshdarn bone, dont bring up all the stuff that happened half a year ago.

@china444: I think I speak for the rest of us when I say that I don't think of you as "the Spam-Man" any more. :) At least, unless there's something I don't know about... Maybe cracker was a bit harsh...

Don't worry about it china. It ain't no big deal.

I knew about china's spam run, but I didn't know how sever it was...just that TF closed china's celebration thread and gave him a 3-day ban and a 10% postcount reduction.

Once someone earns a reputation, it sometimes takes a lot to change it in the minds of others.
Ditto. Once you've done 'something' here (esp something bad), it takes a long time for the remembrance to fade. So, next time, before you want to try something just for the sake of it, or because you're feeling moody, weigh the consequences first...

PS Give it a year or two, and maybe it'll slip off my mind a bit... :p

DoM- havent I earned up to my rep, by not having a ban in quite a while?
No, but you're pretty close to it at times - esp that time when you spammed up the arriving/leaving thread. I was pretty close to hitting the ban button, before my Mr. Nice incarnate dragged me back fr the edge...

I think you're doing great right now, except for occasional lapses. :goodjob:

Remember what I PM'ed you... ;)

As my sig says, I'm a retired USAF MSgt. I have done everything from pump gas to maintain nuclear weapons. The last 20 years I have been a "professional computer geek." That is to say, I have been a software engineer. My current position is as a software configuration manager.
