Did the rules change for archmages becoming liches? i have death 3 but the lichdom button is greyed out. i noticed in the civopedia it says they are a team unit. why can't i turn them "over to the dark side?" yes im evil and in a city.

Are you Infernals? Your Archmage needs to be alive for the Lichdom spell to be able to be cast.

Are you sure you are playing version H? There was an error in this that was fixed in the H patch.
