Little questions & answers thread

Does anyone know what happens to happiness overflow? Like if I have my next Celebration next turn, and I get +50 happiness towards the next Celebration, is it wasted (it sure doesn't trigger it right now)? As we can't see the time before the next one until the current one is finished...
So, I have save-tested.
There is overflow (after the 10 turns of the current Celebration, it was something like 40 turns until the next one when I've taken the +50 happiness, and 49 turns otherwise).

Does anyone know how to turn on Screen Panning? Basically I want the ability to move the view just by moving my mouse to the edge of teh screen. The default is you have to hold left click and move the view around.
I'm looking for this feature also. In Civ 6 it was called "Scroll Mouse When At Edge" under the Interface game options. Please bring that option back!

I have settled a town in a distant land and connected 2 treasure fleet resources. It's connected via road, to a city in the distant lands that is pumping out treasure fleets. The 2 resources in the town aren't showing up anywhere (like they aren't connected). Any ideas on what I need to do?

I’m in the first Age, made a settlement 11 tiles away from my nearest city…how do I connect it to my empire’s trade network? My other settlement made an auto road cause it was close enough. Is there a way to build a road or a network?

Up to 10 tiles is when road is being build automatically. Beyond that, you need to put your faith into trader.

I built a trader but only foreign civs showed up as an option? Is there a way to trade with a settlement in your own empire?

Is it possible to get pop ups in multiplayer? Things like tech research finishing, civics unlocked, you're under attack etc.

I only plan to play this multiplayer and I'd really like to hear the narrator, but generally to be informed that processes are finishing, right now I am finding it quite tricky to keep up with things.

Sorry if this is a setting I am missing somewhere, but I only intend to play this with friends, and it feels like I am missing something!

Not that i know of no. If that settlement would be in between, then yes. Unfortunately this is situational and best option is to settle another settlement that would be not further than 10 tiles from nearest connected one and the one that is beyond. It would connect three at once. At least that's the theory as I haven't try this yet.

In fact, it is for World Renouncer, but not for World Conqueror, even though they have the same flavor text.
There are some inconsistencies like that for the categorization of the "recommenced choices", esp. amongst the personas.
I didn’t bother to check that, weird.

Not as weird Himiko somehow having Mississippian’s as a geographic choice

Antiquity civs aren't listed as unlocks, because they don't need to be unlocked. Any leader can choose any Antiquity civ.
I know

Great, where can I see that? :P

Can we conquer an IP. I killed the units and my army is sitting in the city..turn...after..turn..nothing is happenign

For unmanned cities/towns, with no walls, can enemy units just walk in like civ 4, or are they more like civ 6 where even a defenseless city can take quite a bit?

IPs act like barb camps in previous games before someone fully befriends them, at which point they turn into a full city. As like Civ VI's Barbarian Clans mode, the camps can only be destroyed, while the settled City State can be conquered like any other city.
