Lee, not a big deal, but it looks like you replayed the 2 turns I did.

I was building libraries instead of temples because the libraries are cheaper and those towns do not need extra happiness only culture.

Also, I was putting cities like greenland-05 etc on Wealth since at 1 shield/turn it was never going to build anything, but 1 gold per turn from all those nonproductive cities does help rush a building now and then.
 
Actually, the wealth cities I found were Rome and a couple of other core production cities.

The attack on the Zulu can't happen in the near future.

Summary -
1 - The transport in the Artic is to claim the junk islands above Cumae.

2 - The Battleship / transport combo south of Lisbon is to take out the Egypt Atlatic Ocean city.
Attacking Meydum will cause us unhappy problems in Africa, so take both Egypt cities the same turn.

3 - The goal in India - take out the cities between Arbela and Bombay.
Just go slow, India isn't that big of a threat.

4 - The Atlantic Fleet is to take over some of the island cities near South America.
It could then swing north and help take over the northern Canada ice cities.

5 - The Artillery is ready to pound Delhi.
The Indian cities are worth taking - after they are pounded down to size 1.


Greenland and other junk cities should build - Library (cheaper then temple), walls, harbor, settler (if possible).
These cities will never be productive, the sole goal is to claim more land.

Germany and France make peace! Little did France suspect that this gesture was only

in one turn. of course, we had to build rails for the silly french.

As the last act of my reign shall mirror the first, we make peace with the zulu.
several cities were rioting and they would give us a city on the forbidden
continent. We can use this to gain more territory.

Summary
The Zulu went from a moderate power to an also-ran. Losing all of their homeland
to German panzers and modern armor.
The indians lost 4 major cities including their capital. Several colonies
were also overrun. Their new capital is under seige, but should be
safe for a turn or two.
The Americans stood by and watched helplessly when Chicago was threatened. Our
strong culture is preventing it from flipping. German MA sit poised to
take or raise the second American city.
The Aztecs are outclassed in South America. Their relatively strong military
is defending well, but nothing will stand up to German might.
The Egyptians somehow manage to survive, and 1 panzer might not be able to take
them this turn either.
The French have been given a rest from our aggression.
The Chinese, Japanese, Iroquois, and the Persians are all quiet.

The Germans are overwhelmed by their own dominance. The build the most powerful
task force in the world to continue their ascension to power.

34 cities captured. 4 cities razed (2 auto). 7 cities founded. 1 city lost to razing.
+40 cities for the germans.

Next Player: The best thing about my turn, was that the player before me left a grand army of
panzers and artillery in Europe for me to start with. I did the same thing, but
unfortunately, I forgot that once you "Skip-turn" them, they cannot move at all. I
should have fortified them so that you could set them up in preturn, but i was on crack
and messed it up. Regardless, the following army awaits your command:

32 Modern Armor (21 veteran, 11 elite)
1 Army
15 Artillery

10 more vet Modern Armor due to roll off the production lines next turn!

All other units have been deployed into the field. The only modern armor in the field
are units that are healing (including a MA army in Tugula). We seem to be a little light
on Mech Inf, but there always seems to be something available to fill a new city.

I was weak on the navy / airport part of the war. We will need to get this going to make
America cave easily. With the Zulu and the Indians, I concentrated largely on land forces.

Remember that Panzers and MA can do multiple attacks! I re-discovered this about 1620 :(

1) I was planing to do that in a couple of turns myself.
I should have posted that I was waiting for a couple of key culture borders to close in Afria.
I rushed several keep libraries in Africa culture lock the Zulu to keep them away from the interior.
The one typical challenge in a succession game - making sure people know what you are thinking.

2) I hope Munich was a minor city. I don't have the game at work to take a peak.

3) More aggressive then I was planning. Since we are there - RUSH an airport to be able to reinforce Florida.
Move toward Washington / Salamanca. No matter what happens with the space race - destroying powerhouse cities help.

4) Pure evil. I love it :)

5) :goodjob: This is a major plus. Hugh amount of territory gain, and the Zulu are crippled.
The odds of a Zulu space win are almost zero.

6) What is the forbidden continent? Do you mean Australia? If so, let's rush a airport over there.


7) If we get leaders, start rushing battleships / transports in Ethopia area.
We will need to land in Madagascar and to take out those India cities on the islands.
Plus we may need to hope to the Asia islands. All of these require a large navy.

8) Bring the Americian transport force back to Europe, and load up again.
We still need to take the Carribean islands.

9) Ship some more settlers / workers to South America. Let's fill it in.

10) India is now a side show. Just keep the slow grind going against them.
The main show is America. There are the ONLY threat left for a space race.

3) Well, i was going to take Denver/Kansas City which would be island cities safe from counter attack. Then i thought, ill just take washington in the first turn. The compromise between safe and ultra aggressive seemed to be establishing a beachhead away from the capital - Chicago fit the bill. i thought an airport would be too expensive to rush in chicago and i really wanted to upgrade the troops -- that's why the harbor. Imagine my surprise when i rushed an Airport (in Austrailia, the forbidden continent) for only $640. If i had known the price, i would have rushed air right away. So far Chicago has a harbor and a library. An airport can be rushed next turn.

6) Airport rushed in Australia! Indians have a city there, so we are vunerable if they have a 3-move unit there and rails toward us (highly unlikely).

7) i got 0 leaders. blah

8) All the transports are almost back in europe. There were 2 spares there as well that haven't taken off yet- that would leave 6 transports available in 2 turns or so!

10) India is a grind. Any remaining mainland city can be destroyed in 2 turns. Their cultural radii are too large to get cities in 1 turn. I just set up some artillery on their capitol and decided to give it 2 turns of firebombing for the next player.

Airport (in Austrailia, the forbidden continent) for only $640.
This seems to pricey. Did you do a start and rush the same turn?

If so, you may want to do the same stunt I just learned.
Expensive rush a worker ($80), then switch to airport and rush for normal price. Much cheaper that way.
 
yeah, i rushed it right away due to the fact that an indian city was not to far away-- $640 doesnt seem that much when our annual budget is $2900

didnt think about rushing a worker first, but that makes a lot of sense. I thought the game would protect against this.
 
It is a bit of abuse, but take advantage.


I did a similiar thing in LK21 always war. When I landed on the other continent - a great rail net. I got a ton of workers I did not need. Disbanded 1 worker in towns to rush walls / temples in 1 turn.

Trust me, you can never had enough cash. We need to get culture in every city to start locking borders to get domination. It is amazing how fast cash can go when rushing a ton of libraries, an occasion airport / harbor.

We kill a spearman capturing Tultitlan and get the GL Horsa. Horsa builds a battleship.
Agotzinum is added to our empire and the Aztec no longer have a city in South America.

Stutgart is founded to prevent a Zulu settler/rifleman pair from having a spot to build.

I left several sleeping units by Berlin. Also I left a few units active in places of recent fighting.

There are 2 settlers in Greenland in the woods by the cavalry.
3 more settlers for Greenland will be built in the comnig turn, a transport is ready to pick them up.

A tranport is moving settlers to islands above Siberia.

Since Egypt and Persia are gone I started to use North Africa as a settler factory.

(I) France / China Peace treaty.
Science choice - Genetics, I haven't build the cure for cancer much since CivII ;)
Oh, goodie - the domestic nag about aqueducts.


(2) 1655 AD - Cities built - Siberia-19, Ice-Town-06, Ice-Town-07
Cities captured - Izumo, Jaipur
During the battle of Avigon, the leader Friedrich appears.
He rushs a battle ship to start our Indian Ocean Navy.
The VERY NEXT BATTLE - Karl der Gross appears.
He rushs a transport - we can start to invade those Indian islands.
During the assualt on poorly defended Bhopal - Barbarossa appears.
A 2nd rushed battleship. Talk about instant Indian Ocean navy ;)


(3) 1660 AD - The bombing of Philadelphia begins - I would like to get another American city someday.

Summary - 16 artillery are heading toward South America to help speed things up over there.
Pollution has been brutal - I been trying to sneak in more Mass Transit / Recyling centers.

The marine transport in Dacca is waiting to the MechInf in Rangoon to be at 1 hp.

Concentrate on building MechInf. We need occupation troops.
Next turn - to keep attacking, you need to get the MA out of cities replaced by MI.

The MechArmies between Beijing and Jinan are to stop China from attacking our rear.


Squares to still capture - 2451 - way less then the last time I checked.
There will be plenty of border expansion coming up.

The transport near Greenland is to invade the ice south of it - once we have spare troops.
