Remember 10 turns per round - STRICT 24 hours got it, total 48 to complete.

Notes:
1) This starts after November 4 so that I can confirm the exact settings for Demigod
2) This will still be played with PTW. It will take time to understand the full scope of the conquest changes, to add them to the world map, and to test them. I don't want to wait that long.
3) Once again I am opening the civ up to debate. The civs played so far are: Germany, China, Australia, Songhai, Brazil and USA. Thoughts on civ to play:
a) France - Once again into over crowed Europe.
b) Greece - Once again into over crowed Europe.
c) Babylon - The middle east gets crowded fast. Forget first to find the new world.
d) Mongols - Boy are we squeezed.

The following tactics are PROHIBITED:

RCP (Ring City Placement) - A new tactic that exploits a hole in the corruption calculation. 3 cities at the same distance from the FP / palace suffer the same amount of lower corruption. I feel this turns the game into a mathematic formula.

RoP Rape - if you have to ask...

RoP Abuse that includes things such as irrigating all tiles with a city building wonders, denying resources with a RoP, putting a unit to block a land bridge, etc.

Scout resource denial - parking a scout on a resource, as the AI won't ask scouts to leave. The same scenario also applies to workers.

False Peace Treaties (must wait for the 20 years to end).

The negative science exploit - you can run a huge deficit (-250 / turn) of negative cash with a token penalty of one lost worker / cheap building. If cash will go below zero, the research level must be dropped.

Ship chaining exploit - you can move a ship, unload troops to another ship, move that ship, etc. This allows you to ship an indefinite distance, and that is why I consider it an exploit.

Resources disconnect / connect exploit - I consider most resource tactics fine. Delaying to hook a resource, trading it away etc is fine. The exploit is to do this every turn. Build a stack of horses, connect saltpeter, upgrade to cavalry, and disconnect.

Palace Jump - You abandon the capital city to move the palace to a new location. If you want to move the palace, build a new palace.

Standard LK house rules:
1) Worker automation of any kind is prohibited.
2) No worker purchases before 1000BC to avoid civ crippling.
3) Declaring war / demanding leave solely for the purpose of getting out of trade deals.
4) Even if not covered under exploits listed, please try not to use tactics that take advantage of holes in the game design.
5) Our trading reputation is golden - please respect it.
6) Complete your turn. It is frustrating to get a 1/2 completed turn.

So, is this PTW? [Edit] Yes, I do read all of posts sometimes.

If so, I'll sign up.

Would love to put my machine to the test with huge maps.

3 slots to go. Meldor gets one slot if interested since he has play quite a few of the wm games.

You want a deity military win as the sheer scope makes this one a challenge.

Also, I want previous huge map experience so that you know what you are getting in to.

I will sign up if you want me. I will likely only be able to stomach five turns in the really worker intense railing times.
HOwever the early warfare of the mongols would be really interesting.

I would like to join.
Can I get the last slot?

@Kuningas - I don't recognize your name. Can you confirm previous experience with huge maps and deity military win?

Opening is CLOSED.

I have decided to upgrade the game to conquest BEFORE playing the next world map. This will take awhile.

Could be best. I am waiting impatiently for my flown in copy that hopefully will ship Real Soon Now (tm )

If you are going to make this a full upgrade to Conquests (Such as the Venezualians converted to the Mayans, etc...), then I would be interested in joining and/or testing out the changes when you have them available.
