Log-in request

Recently when I come on to Civfanatics I been having a problem. The site recognizes me, I go to my user CP without logging in -happy camper - but then in the middle of browsing this or that I'm told that I'm not logged in.

I've not deleted any cookies, or changed any settings. However AOL did add its pop-up blocker. Could this be causing my problem?

IIRC, AOL users do occasionally have this type of problem. Then again, I have had it in the past, and I *don't* use AOL.

Usually, clearing the cookies did the trick for me.

I had this problem when I had ZoneAlarm set to block third party cookies and web bugs originating from CFC. I didn't want to bother figuring out what was causing the problem, so I just disabled cookie filtering for the forums, which seemed to work.

I had a similar problem at a different site, which I solved by setting the site to "Allow cookies" in both IE and my firewall.
