Long pause between moves!

Hi guys.
My problem is when playing with the CD in I get long pauses between moves. It last about 20-30 seconds which is very anoying. It happens every 3 minutes or so.
I got windows xp P4 256 ram system.
It never happens without the cd but I like being able to hear the sounds and viewing the movies.
What gives?
Any help would be great.

Probably has something to do with the cd-rom getting up to speed to play whatever sound is necessary. If you have the music option checked in game options and the sound files installed on the computer this should not be a problem. If it is still a problem rip the songs from the cd and play them with an mp3 player in the background.
