Hey guys,
I'm on the market for a new laptop. I will be primarily using it for my accounting business, but I would like for it to be a top-of-the-line technology purchase as I do plan to play some games on it and want it to last 4-6 years.
I have been holding out for the Sandy Bridge tech and looks like that it's finally ready. That said, I am not against a first-generation i5/i7 if it's an excellent deal, but what I am seeing is that going from an i7-8xx to Sandy Bridge is not a big deal as far as price. Same with Nvidia GTX vs GT. That said, if I could find an i7-8xx GT laptop for <$1k I'd probably be very happy with it.
I have been seriously considering the MSI 680, but am not quite sure that it's going to be a good fit with my business image. It's also a bit bigger than I would prefer.
I have a credit with Newegg that I need to use. I would love some good suggestions. I am not interested in building a desktop at this time.
Thanks for your help.
