I haven't done much in the way of LE changes, other than spotting a spelling mistake a few days ago. Quote recordings are probably the last big thing. I'll write them down onto this week's to do list. Probably Wednesday will be the best day for that as all the public holidays will be over so there'll be less noise and interruptions.
If I recall, there are a lot of files that need to be modified, e.g. help, tutorial. Probably best to do it slow and steady.
That sounds like a great idea! Mhm... I'll PM bdanv and get his initial thoughts about what he thinks of a Lost Eden scenario, as well as what to do with it should it seem like something that they would like to get into.
I think the good v. evil theme lends itself well to a scenario. For your reference,
here is an example. If this was the last GOTM, maybe the LE scenario should be GOTY.
It might just be the exposure the game needs.

Since last May 31, you've established yourself in the SMAC community. While I think SMAC is the best game ever, it has been a long time since I played. Obviously, I'd like to see LE released in a final form and copies uploaded at CFC and CGN, so it will be around in future years even if your website isn't. After LE is released, I think my role in the SMAC community will diminish (unless scient returns).
Because of that, I would like you to take control of the CGN private forum. It doesn't require much work, but someone should have the keys.

I think a realistic calendar is that creating a GOTM would require a month, so maybe the LE GOTM (assuming bdanv is interested) could be released on the anniversary of your first post in this thread. After a month, there would be player feedback and LE could be finalized at the beginning of July.
