Might I suggest another version where you start just like in civ3, a settler and worker? So then your mod would contain 2 BIX's, but it might lead to more interesting gameplay. I havent played your mod so I dont know about the rule changes or anything yet. I havent seen the second movie yet, but I have played LOTR risk, and it is a fairly fun game.

Have I beaten it? I've beaten it twice! Best game ever made. Nothing compares to entering Temple of Bhaal for the first time!
Meeting the "Armoured Figure" outside Candlekeep isn't too bad either..

On topic: Have you thought about making bigger armies in your scenario? Lifting the battles to a more epic scale.

I have, but ive really been considering loading time for the scenario. I dont want another long loading scenario. my WW3 scenario im making will take at least an hour to load (im making it very thorough!)

Your right, loading time is really an issue. Too bad.
It really takes 1 hour to load?

Great scenario, Sarevok! Make the best of it. :yeah: I've played it as Elrond and very neat. ;)

Please lobby and try to let people make (good) LOTR units. It's a very popular concept on the moment and it can be made very complete and very very detailed. Those units are most important (yet most work :undecide: ).

Second suggestion: let science be of little or no value. I don't think there's anything which one of the "Civs" have developed during the game.

Third (and very small) suggestion: remove "The White" from Gandalf and Saruman. It's also just "Aragorn" and not "Aragorn, son of Arathorn". :)

Fourth: I believe Orgilath should be Ozgiliath, or something.

Fifth: there was something strange going on: the Ents were barbarian's and Rohan's in my game. They were white. I could attack them without declaring war to Rohan. They attacked me and Neutral Locations without questioning. But when they attacked Amon Hen, that city became Rohan's property. The Ent went defending it. They could defended Rohan's colonies and I couldn't attack them when they were on something of Rohan.

Now out of interest: why is there a ruin near Lothlorien? Moria?

Anyway, good luck, Sarevok! :goodjob:

1. I have wanted to see some LOTR units, but the ones out suck. if someone can create some that are good or even look like the guys in the movie, then I would definetly want to use them.

2. Ill remember to have that, what is science used for anyway???

3. I didnt have that title to aragorn, i just had " the White " titles and im not comfortable in getting rid of them.

4. Orgilath is how the city is spelled, its just pronounced differently.

5. The ents are rohan's units, but they have hidden nationality. There are many units in the game that have it.

6. Yes, that ruin is moria.

Thanks for playing the scenario!

Ahh, im back from Europe and i just played this and the Return of the king scenarios you made sarevok. They are friggin good! are you working on the WW3 scenario by chance?

I finished it, but i got a glitch that makes:

m1's into archers
T-90's into spearmen
Russian Infantry into horsemen
F-16's into privateers (yes, those ships "sail" over cities)
T-72's into swordsmen
T-56's intochariots
Japanese infantry into pikemen
and U.S. marines into warriors.

Untill i get around that, the ww3 scenario isnt coming.

Well, I always end up editing the scenario due to these isues

1) To little gold to fund the huge amount of troops (so the gold is increased to last through a longer time-span)

2) There are a unbelivable number of units, but where are the armys (so I always add a couple of armys)

Theses above I always change to test, the biggest problem is to get them game balanced. But I really like the map and the scenario i the overall perspective :goodjob:

sween is working on a sauron leaderhead that should be finish soon. he also made a orc leaderhead, but i dont see how that should fit in this scenario.

I rather see an Orc as a leaderhead instead of the usuall boring leaderheads.

The question from me are today many ;)

1) Are there someone working on units to this scenario?

2) If so do they have a thread on this forum?

2) they have threads, look after "lord of the rings" threads on the c&c forum.
