Range should be 3, the NLOS cannon has a range of 2 and can upgrade to the Levitation Arty, which also has a range of 2. The main drawback I want for the Hover units is that they are less strong/have less range than their normal counterparts. So, The Walker Artillery should have a range of 3. Otherwise, it looks good, although I'm sad it has no animation.:(

Where do you think The Walker Artillery should fir in and what stats should be changed? Seems like the Assault Droid should upgrade into the Siege Droid.

I think this probably should cost more gold per turn and the Walker Mech along with the greater range should probably have better Collateral Damage.

Also I think the resource requirements for the NLOS Artillery should be changed to say ...

Req Resource: Titanium AND (Oil Products OR Biofuel)

If not titanium then at least the Oil Products OR Biofuel as a choice.

OK, here are my thoughts on this issue. I think that the Siege and Assault droids should have their collateral damage nerfed, as that is more the realm of the artillery. Also, why does the Assault Droid not upgrade to the Siege Droid? It would seem like the logical path to me for the Assault mech.

The NLOS can get 5 :gold: extra cost, same as the Hover Arty. The NLOS should require Oil Products/Biofuel, but later units should not, as they will be using Fusion power mostly. Does this all sound OK?
 
You would have to ask Zappra and/or Afforess why since one of them added most of units we have. Its only recently that we have added new units like the culture units and the ones you have been adding.

Its our mod now so we can tweak and chnage any of those units however we want. That includes making them fit out upgrade tree and tech tree and even resources.

For isntance the Flamethrower I think was a stand alone unit back in the day. Then it was removed and then put back in. Now it is in a line of units thanks to your help.

We should really focus on these Robots and Assault Mechs ...

Assault Mechs

- Anti-Personnel Mech

- Walker Droid
- Assault Droid
- Siege Droid
- Hi-Tech Robot

These units do not upgrade nor have anything upgrade to them. We need to figure out where they should fit in and what stat changes we need to do to them.

Sounds good. However it got me thinking, perhaps we should make a new resource called like "Fusion Core" or something for all the fusion powered units.

Here is a better model for the Levitation Artillery. I merged the NLOS Cannon top with the Heavy Levitation Tank bottom. I think they merge surprisingly well. I also provided a button/icon for it too.

I like the idea of a Fusion Core resource, it should require a chain of a few buildings.

Heavy Levitation Tank, sure, Hovercraft, not so much. I though you said that units named Hovercraft was not using antigrav or magnetic means to stay afloat. Also, the Hi-Tech Hovercraft is not balanced for the late Transhuman Era, it is balanced for the Mid-TH era.

You need to get ahold of "Premier Valle", "The_Coyote", or "asioasioasio" and find out how they do such a great job of getting the animations from other games to work here in C2C or CFC, thx.

Yes, I agree with that. However, I'd rather add the unit w/o anims if I knew that the animations could be made later. That's why I linked Hydro to the KFM editing tool, I hope he'll be able to learn how to use it. It reads like greek (or alternatively, some of Koshling's technical explanations) to me.:crazyeye:

Now as long as we are on the subject, can we get a replacement for the Horse Crossbowman, its looks and sounds really (no offense) "stupid" for a crossbow to act and sounds like a "gun.":crazyeye: Thx in advance.

Potentially in the future if I learn how to do animations. However I could easily make it non-animated now. :p
