At the turn of a river, the outside corner tile get +1 commerce if it's Plains without Forest / Jungle, which means the tile is considered "next to a river". And since Lumbermill is suppose to get +1 commerce from Forest tiles "next to a river", it should restore the commerce in such a tile, but it doesn't.

Maybe the people writing the game for an English audience should know English. Next to and adjacent are synonyms and do NOT exclude objects located at the corner. At least this interface lie seems to be a mistake, although given its direct (if somewhat insignificant) gameplay implications you think they'd take the time to make sure it's represented correctly. Then again, they can't handle that for more major gameplay issues...

True, but the code that gives this result , as jdog pointed out in the thread I linked , is clearly intended. I can't really phantom why would the coders would want so badly that lumbermills and preserves to not get the riverside 1C when in the out side of a river bend , but the fact is that they did...

About grammar... well, I'll try to not start griping about that. But the fact is that, in spite of me being saying this since 3.03 , the civilopedia still states that the ballista Phant is a powerful melee unit ... and IMHO that is far worse than using synonims to try to express diferent realities ;)
