I want my title to read Lurk mode, not lurk ***e. It doesn't let me put a mod in my title. can it be fixed?

Because the word 'mod' is censored in titles.

To prevent posters from masquadering as moderators. ;)

Any space between within the word "mod" works.

Couldn't that be changed though? Considering mods now have graphics under their names and their names are also in bold?

That, and I'm sure the people who are "posing" as moderators can quickly be dealt with and maybe it will give the mods a reason to ban a few people...

You bring on strong reasons why the mod-blockade in titles is obsolete, but I can guarantee you that none of us wants to have a reason to ban anyone. Banning is a lot of work and never fun. It's always a last resort and not a very pleasant one.

it's funny, even though there's only a single pixel between them, I cannot force me mind to put the 'r' and 'n' together :suicide:

The problem is with CFC newbs who still wouldn't be familiar with this. We have cases in the past of people posing as mods.

Why work when you don't need to by nipping it in the bud? :p

Couldn't you just censor the exact words "mod" and "moderator" using the curly {braces}? "rnod" and "rnoderator" also (Neat trick, Pentium :hatsoff:)

"Lurk mоde" will work. Copy and paste (without quotes). True nerds know how to avoid mere mortal censors. ;)
