What happened to Madjinn? I remember him being quite the expert on Civ back in the day.

He used to be in the Polycast show years ago, but he left that too. My impression was that he was no longer interested in the Civilization franchise, but I don’t know for sure. Someone like @TheMeInTeam , @megabearsfan , or @CanusAlbinus might be able to shed some light on the subject. I can’t remember if he left during the Civ 5 or Civ 6 era.

Yeah he left due to losing interest years ago. Around the late Civ5 or very early Civ6 time.

As far as I know (he left PolyCast before I took it over, and I haven't spoken to him directly in some years), he lost interest in Civilization when Civ6 came out.

Yeah, unfortunately he isn't around the Civ community any longer. Probably quit early in the Civ6 period - I definitely remember he was in the test group up to release, but ultimately MadDjinn wasn't happy with the direction Civ was going in so he lost interest.

It's a shame, he definitely authored some of the best Civ content.
