NIGHT FIVE
The Japanese might have suffered some setbacks but they were determined to prevail, and tonight thought they had a clear plan of action. Thus, choxorn was sent out to find where in the town Camikaze was hiding.
It wasn't long before Camikaze was found, awake and staring out at the stars with a wistful and depressing look.
"Yes, I'm doomed. Knew as much all along, life is just tragic."
And choxorn struck down Camikaze without much fanfare.
Camikaze was dead
Pleased at this result, he would have steathily made his way back to his allies, but he wasn't the only one with a wicked plan to enact that night. After taking his last ever ill-advised turn into a side street as a shortcut, choxorn was confronted with a formiddable attacker of his own, who charged into him with near-unstoppable power.
However, the blood flowing from his torso when the giant claws raked at it brought on a last surge of adrenaline in choxorn. And he thought he had some tricks up his sleeve too; afterall, superhuman ascendence was going to be his thing. So the creature attacking choxorn did not have an easy kill, and choxorn was able to push it away and fight back, using his wits and carefully concealed melee weapons to hack at the beast. In the morning severed bits of scale-encrusted tailflesh were a testament to the ferocity of the fight.
But in the end choxorn's stamina wore out, and his attacker was too strong for him. Whether the struggle was a futile effort or not remained to be seen, as choxorn collapsed after being gouged by the last few bites, and his body, tophat and all, was dragged off into the night.
choxorn was dead
Little else of interest was found as the early-risers among the town (and there were many now, most everyone was sleeping quite lightly indeed) viewed these scenes. Camikaze's eyes were closed and the body put in a respectful position.
There had been another note scrawled out and left in a shop window, but it unfortunately wasn't much of a eulogy:
Washington Irving writes: "Bush visits London"
Out in the streets, people quick on their feet realized they might have some hope of further tracking down the trail of blood and discovering where this attacker had fled during the night. Certainly, the whole town hadn't yet assembled and some people had only woken up to hear the news; one of them must be guilty. But before anyone could really begin following the trail or scouting out where everyone else, that horrible sinking feeling befell everyone again...

MORNING SIX
It was a familiar location that people arrived at once more, dispersed across the
Military Base they recalled from a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, all that gathered out by the airstrips seemed normal and human enough, except the alien everybody had already been surprised by once. Would there be something interesting to do again or would the town have other priorities today?
It is now Day Six. Players should receive/have received PMs about the Night. Now is the time to send Day abilities, and any who need to contact me please do so.
