So does this mean you're going to build one?

Well, possibly, at some point, though not now as I have masses of other stuff to do, both Civ and real. But if you *really* need it for a particular project, let me know and I might be able to sort something out. I think an Orthodox monk would need a big black cloak, though, which would be a hassle to do (although probably easier than the Dominican's cloak, since it would be the same colour as the rest of his clothes and therefore require less touching up).

Well I need it for my massive mode all about Serbian History on a Yugoslav map, and that means Ottomans invasion to! so the only thing that kept Serbs alive is Church!
And yes He needs an big black cloak, long black beard, with an orthodox cross !

Plotinus, do you have the time or inclination to create a unit with just those birds in it? I know of a couple of mods that could use a crow/crebain unit...

I could easily make an animation of just the birds swooping about (by removing the friar and re-rendering it). But would you need more animations for the Run, Default etc? I'm not sure how it would be best done...

Well, you could use the same animation for default and run if you had all the birds flapping their wings, to move in the run and to stay in the air in the default, then you have the attack already, so you just need them all dropping out of the sky for the death

ronning, if you want a muslim similar to this you could use the magical attack I made for the Mongol King Unit.
Or aaglo's Flying Carpet.
