Make Guild of Nine more random

Is it possible to adjust the Guild of Nine so it doesnt' give you the guaranteed Ogre/Lizard/Merc as soon as you found it? Or at least make it more random? It's pretty easy to get a str 8 unit way before you can build str units using this and it has 3 movement as well. Not that I'm saying it's OP or anything but it would make rushing Guild of Nine a little less essential then it is. I already hate how there's 3 main techs that while you don't "need" them they are very very big in any game (Writing, Currency, Engineering). As far as Engineering goes I wouldn't mind seeing the free Great Engineer removed. This would give people who were a little late to Engineering a chance to found the Guild of Hammers since right now it's impossiblef or the person who discovers engineering to not get Guild of Hammers unless they choose not to for some crazy reason (1K slums for OCC?)

I also wouldn't mind seeing the Great Sage get dropped off of writing. This would allow people who want to get a sage early still get one (using gpp) but not reward people who rush writing to all exclusion and prevent nearly every human game from turns 1-60 being who get's writing first, and 61-100 catching up to whoever got it.

Yeah the Great Sage race is pretty fun, but it's annoying in MP, and it's too easy in SP. And in both modes it is a too big reward.

Move the free Great Sage to a later tech, where it won't make as big difference on the game.

(Edit: I usually almost only settle great engineers, I find that a bigger bonus overall (I'd probably get the wonder anyways). I might use it to rush in MP or in a very hard SP game)

Actually I remember Kael talking a fair amount about reducing the :science: bonus from an Academy so that it isn't a completely hands-down decision to pop a Great Sage for the building, and doesn't put you so terribly far ahead of everyone else if you do so.

I also tend to settle GEs, unless I am planning to do a Tower Victory and don't think I can hold my own in a war against the world.

It's usually only a good idea to settle your first GS, unless you are going for a mage rush or something like that. (Or if you are running multiple Commerce cities it can be a good idea for several acadamies)
