One trick I had to use was creating a hard link from the install directory to the default Save folder.

So... does anyone know how to get reloads to work with BUFFY?

As far as I know it doesn't, you have to exit to the main menu.

Ok. That’s a bummer, as it is a lot slower than in-game load / fast load. Not relevant for HOF, but it effectively prevents me from using MapFinder, which I was really excited about. Ah well.

Why would it stop you using MapFinder? Use it to generate a bunch of maps then just work your way through them, wouldn't have thought the extra 10 seconds to go to the main menu would be a huge hindrance.

Only thing I know to tell you is to reload from the main menu as opposed to in-game. I don't run into this issue much except with the BAT mod.

Yeah, the issue you are experiencing is not related to MapFinder so I don't see a reason to stop using it if you like it.
