Looking at this map there are a couple of holes that would be filled nicely with: Mali, Mongols, Indonesia, South Afrika, and 1 North American tribe. Perhaps one more South american nation.

The Philippines were an American colony.

They were a Spanish colony first. And I would say they were an American possession rather than a colony. We didn't colonize it, we just occupied it for a few decades, and most of that was with a significant struggle against the indigenous people.

Maybe your next computer can handle it I can play on an enormous map when i load the 10 year old civ 4

Oh, my eyes must have been very bad, they mixed the American blue with the Spanish strips together. Must have looked too much anticipation thread the last weeks, months...

My gpu has the biggest problems with leader screens. I set them very low.
