Many excellent fantasy units have been made and most seem to be based on other comp games or on LOTR, which is cool. But this morning I was thinking how great it would be if someone made units based on the paintings of Frank Frazetta. Frazetta was primarily known for his paperback covers for the likes of Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan, John Carter) and Robert E Howard (Conan and his cousins). I think most of his work was done in the 60s and 70s. Anyway, the fantastic characters he painted would make some great inspiration for fantasy type units IMHO. :D

Here are some examples of his work:

Death Dealer

The Silver Warrior

Shi

I've got more pics if anyone's interested. If not, I won't use the bandwidth. Hope someone feels inspired...

that first pic would be interestiing to use as a "genereric north-east old world barbarian" ;)
