I didn't manage to finish my turns last night. I played 7 so will have to finish tonight.

I feel as if more should have happened in the turns I did play though. Still, no disasters yet.

I decided not to attack India because I would only get two turns into it before handing over and I thought it would be best for a single player to start it in his/her own way. So there is a decent SOD in Antalya. There are 3 galleys at Mecca and two exploring. I've started to switch production to markets in some of the larger cities to generate happiness and income.

Sorry about raising the city, but it was in the way.

I wanted a city on their continent for trade. They settled on ours, so it was as you say an easy target. Didn't get a city on their continent however. I'd even declare again just to take the worker in 10 turns, get a road built and a harbour. Bobs your uncle.
 
Good set of turns mad-bax. That will teach those pesky Ottomans from trying to settle on our island. Nice work with the Egyptians too. Things are moving along nicely and we are really starting to emerge as the super power in the game.

Notes
Egypt has a monpoly on Theology.
Our first round of attacks on India was very successful but then the Indians had time to bring Swords to the front and we lost some Horses in counterattacks. The assault on Punjab petered out with their defense down to 1 red-lined spear but our losses were so heavy that there was nothing in reach to finish him off :(
There are a large number of our forces making their way down the West coast. Once they arrive then the next 3 Indian towns should fall easily.
Still no Great Leader. Hopefully the next player should have some luck there.

First reaction: wonderfully done! Wading through all that jungle allways was going to be sloooooooow... Too bad about that leader.

I've no access to the save, so I wondered how many turns left until the HG? The amount of land under control is a factor in the revolt duration, the more of it, the longer it takes, so the sooner the better.

And boy, are we gonna need a *truckload* of workers to clear all that jungle. :lol:

There's still 9 turns to go Hanging Gardens. I think we've got a fair shot at getting it so I delayed revolution.

These two MB games keep going so smoothly. Who would've thought we'd be getting Wonders at this rate without science effort at all. I think maybe the hard part of this game will turn out to be keeping the research speed going in the latter stages of this game.
 
But we're religious. Why not revolt right away since it'll only take one turn?

Because AFAIK we would still lose a turn's production. I'd rather have the Hanging Gardens (if possible) than a few hundred extra gp :D

Since we are at war, and will continue to be at war for a while I think despotism is OK to improve our chances of HG. But, I would like a few markets built b4 then. ;)

India looks to be tougher than we expected. But the tide will turn soon. They just can't keep up with our production rate.
5 elite victories without a leader is not unusual, but I think hooray has a fair chance of getting one at some point.

I had the choice of either attacking with horse only - hoping to overcome weak defenses - or hanging back for re-inforcements - allowing the Indians to build up their defense. Whichever way I went I had to take a risk. I can't say I'm unhappy with the results. It was just that last red-lined spear in Punjab that really hacked me off.

If I do get a Leader, is their any priority on what I should do with it? We're building the Garden, but it looks like we can get that on our own.
Where are we on the tech tree? Do we have Feudalism? If so, I'd be likely to go for Sun Tzu's.
