Pre-turn.
We're really on a roll. OMG, look at the WW modifiers in our cities! In the 7-9 range in a lot of places, but we're managing to stay balanced with the culture slider & many, many, luxuries. I wonder if Alexanders lands will be enough once borders start popping?
Re-negotiate a couple of lux deals to get max gpt. Cancel trade for silver with Hathesput since we have a source of our own now.

Pick off a stray Greek musket near Thermopylae and a Knight near Corinth
Healed units headed for Sparta, big landing heads for Pharsalos

Cavs all over Greece.

Will attack Pi Ramses & Hereklea next turn.
Set culture slider to 30% to help with WW in towns with Theaters. Building some jails in a few places.

Turn 6) 1748 AD
Sucesfully Capture Hereklea, Pi Ramses proves to be tougher as it's defended by 3 Rifles. Only sent four cavs to it thinking it would be lightly defended. Rifles retreat 2 cavs and decide not to push it. Pull troops back toward our territory to heal & bring some cannons in the meantime.

Turn 7) 1750 AD
Moving on through Alexander's territory. Delphi should fall next turn.

Capture Delphi.

Frederick asks for Military Tradition, I gave at the office.

Only 3 Greek Cities left.

We learn Assembly Line -> Set research to Electricity

Turn 10) 1756 AD
Montezumas borders have engulfed Delhpi.

We have some units stranded now. Don't really care to start in on Montezuma just yet.

Post turn: We're extremely powerful, but WW is causing starvation in many of our cities now. We have more than enough population, but stand at about 48% of land area. I don't think Greek lands will be enough to get us over the domination limit.

Erf, Alex got rifles? Blech.

As far as WW goes, we can revolt to Police State which should help a bit, especially when combined with Jails... also, with our cheap theatres we can keep cranking up the culture slider at the cost of research.

It takes 20 turns for a city's land to count for "domination," so we might not be that far off... on the other hand, we might look to see if anyone else doesn't have Rifles that we could poach some cities from.

I can grab this tomorrow afternoon, unless Paulsy wants a crack at it

Phew, that took a while

I played 13 turns because we were dangling at 59% land area - didn't want to pass it off to Paulsy to "just press enter."

Here's the bloody Autolog. I played very sloppily, but it didn't really matter. Monty didn't go down easily (he even recaptured a city, and took one of our cossack stacks down to a single cossack with 0.9 health) but we got enough from him. My favorite part was when Alex offered Delhi (the Hindu/Jewish holy city, with two shrines) for peace!
