What colour would you propose for the roofs? I was thinking maybe of the blackish tone used in the medieval skandinavian set.

There is also this more exotic red:

For the castle I think Green or Grey.
I think the castle is a little too tall and narrow at the moment. The foundation for the castle should also be a little more sloped and made of large stones. I also feel that a castle should only be the center piece for the size 3 and possibly size 2 cities, and a Buddhist temple or Shinto shrine for size 1.

It was meant to be a pagoda, i plan to make the castle for 3

ah if its the pagoda it should be much smaller. And the roofing more flat, and less of a transition from small to large, more rectangular and less triangular. Also the metal spiral at the top is important. As for the pagoda colors... white walls with red framing and dark roof titles. Typically the pagoda is a part of the larger temple, so maybe shrink the pagoda down and set it next to temple.

In my view it is massively improved, but i am not sure if it really looks authentic.

much better, but I still think the pagoda is too big and it dominates the city. Also the cylindrical building is totally unJpanese.

I like the pagoda, but I agree that the cylindrical building seems out of place.

I could reserve the pagoda for the second or third size.

The round building stays though, for uniformity with the rest of the sets.

The temple looked like crap in size 1, which is why i have it in 2. But since there is space i might add a torii

So now i only have the Osaka castle to model. If it turns out to be decent, i will possibly make a building out of it too.
