Just started playing again. Can't seem to finish a game. Always just toward the end of the game I get a memory allocation error. Both with Windows 7 and XP. Do I need to go back to Civ 3 or play Civ Revolution on my PS3. I actually have hardly played Revolution.
I have patch 1.61 installed.
I also just edited my virtual memory to the max. I don't know if that will work.
Also, my CD is getting scratched. Is there a way I can run the game without the CD, or a solution to this problem. I don't know if the CD is copy protected. I haven't tried to burn it yet because I only have a couple of CD's available.
Increasing virtual memory did not help.
