This is the discussion to discuss where we should move our remaining warrior to which route to take.

The Red route Will take us to a mountan to see the land better, and then pop the goodie hut. The dotted line is the alternate route if the pop the goodie hut does not pass.

The Other Colored routes are basic Point A to Point B paths (Unless they come across a goodie hut, then they should by pass them).

i say take the red route and follow the river for future city sites

I agree. Let's take the red route. Good map, CG.

Hey look! Our borders expanded! I wonder what we would have gotten if we had waited a mere three turns? :mischief:

As I am a glutton for punishment, I also choose the Red Route. Although we may want to now consider a build queue change, and get a Warrior escort for an eventual Settler.

Finally, if we elect to open the goodie hut, there is really no need to detour to the mountain. Let's head straight for the hut, and base our next-in-queue on the outcome. If we get barbs again, we should switch to Warrior. Anything else, we can probably go ahead with the Settler.

Blue is hardly an option because it doesn't pass by a mountain :-)
I suggest yellow or red.
The map is clear, the debate is nonexistant, lets poll it!

I'll suggest the blue route or the alternate red route

The red is a important one, because in it drection there is a possible river and future options to plant cities, but we cannot forget that maybe there are barbarians waiting in that hut.

I think the blue one is also a good choise, because the terrain unexplored is close to a lake or even the sea, that can tell us more about the limitis of land.

I support Red, with the stop on the mountain. We need to find a good second settling location, and so far, I don't see it.

I say that we go for the red route. From the mountain we will be able to see potential settling sites.

I would like to know a little more about what lies to the south of the cattle. Blue but with a bend to the south would be slightly more revealing, the blue bending to the north looks like it's probably plains. Of course more cattle or wheat in that direction would be great too. :D

I agree with the red path, but lets not pop the hut unless we have city defense!

What about the pink path? Is almost the red one.

nice. then we could see some western terrain earlier. if the western terrain appears to be awsome, we would have the option to go to the southern mountain.

I agree with the pink path, maximum land exposure in the minimum amount of time.

The next scouting group needs to go East though.

Pink seems to be the most appropriate route under the circumstances.

Why there isn't a route to south?

The purpouse of detoring to the mountan is that units get an added viewing bonus when on them. They get a temporary view 2 tile radius when on Mountans and hills. Since we are exploring, I want to take advantage of this bonus.

Why there isn't a route to south?

The reason I dont have a route to the south, on this particular warrior, is that I am trying to push forward to build another warrior for the southern exploration. To me, it seems kind of silly for 2 units going the same direction (Unless its a large mass of land, then 2 or more is needed).

And the south is jungle, which isn't very interesting in this stage of the game imo.
