I was curious about snow..... is there seasonal model in MineCraft?

What I mean is, I started a new SP world, and after a couple days it started snowing.

In a couple of months of game time, will it be spring? Or where I am located is just an arctic region (do they call it Biome? or something?)

Its just the biome you are in, it doesn't change.

Bunch of bug updates. In 1.6 the cart based speed booster bug is finally fixed! No more cart boosters!

1.6 officially has a release date of “not soon”. The main features will be the maps, bug fixes, and now a functioning Nether in multiplayer.

Bug fixes are good. Maps, who knows. Couldn't care less about the nether but progress is progress.

I was only semi-interested in maps until I realised I could dig up from a cave and know for sure if I was going to hit water.

If the zombies dropped glowstone dust yeah. I hate ghasts, waste of arrows, bloody annoying, not going to hung them no matter how good the prize is (unless its ridiculously good drops like a stack of diamonds ).

Anything you would like see added to make it more useful?

Rare minerals hidden in the nether but that wouldn't be addable without redoing it (if at all?).

IIRC diamonds are over double the base price of iron, so that's market dynamics for ya!
