Well right now iron is more valuable than diamonds

How's that even possible? :dubious:

I was just making a 120x60 mansion and thinking about costs (a little larger, actually, to compensate for 3x3x3 foot walls) with -

Music Room
Library
Office
Tea Room
Kitchen Suite w/Silver Vault and Butler's Pantry
Formal Dining Room
Formal Living Room
Gallery
Guest Reception Room
Large Foyer and Stairs

And doesn't include the 5-8 bedrooms and just as many bathrooms, private kitchen/dining room and living room in the upstairs. (which would be difficult with 3x3x3 blocks). The basement's just an afterthough right now.

The Library alone (with all of the reeds, and trees needed) would be at least $100,000 - $200,000, not counting labor, walls, ceiling, floor, and furniture. The mansion would probably be 2-5 million easy.

Currently that is what the market prices are (which the value of something is based on supply vs demand)

Sounds like someone needs to explore an overly-complex cave that has stacks upon stacks of iron! That'll send the iron prices (due to mass speculation) plummeting and burst the ecomonic iron bubble!

In the meantime, iron sounds like a good investment opportunity. (Or diamond for future speculation) :D

From the twitter:

+ Added hatches
Yes, trapdoors. They work just like normal doors, except flat. They require a solid block next to them for various reasons.
They do NOT let water pass through, unfortunately.

Have you guys heard about the openable windows?

Make a doorway, then plant a cactus right next to it. Remove cactus, put a normal wall piece under the top half of the door. Boom, instant toggleable window.

Yeah, last December.

Was bored, so I loaded up world 3 to walk around Cosmopolis. I ended up walking along Aspire's railway, and into their railstation. IT IS AMAZING! That has to be one of the greatest achievements in our server's history.

Looks like the aether.
