The Endermen are peaceful. If you look straight at them, they freeze and look at you. When you look away again, they run fast. And teleport.
They run TOWARDS you, not away. So if you happen to look at one, do not look away.

Sounds like something that should be in the nether, and/or around portals. Shadow Fiends. Maybe attack one, and the whole horde teleports and comes after you (like zombie pigmen).

Fast travel through the nether becomes pointless when you play on a mp server that has warp enabled.

The issue on our server is that our towns are in such close proximity that many normal world gates end up linking to the same nether gate. I've spent a bit of time thinking on what can be done to make building/living in the nether more enticing, but so far I got nothing.

Also found out that Jeb's skin is a naked woman, he apparently keeps it as a reminder that his account got hacked (and that is how he got the skin).

The nether's not good enough for fast travel. The terrain is often so treacherous that you can't take a straight path anyway, or you have to spend ages constructing a safe route. Minecarts are just as good in the main world and you have a better view. Plus, the last time I tried to link two of my sites both portals kept sending me to the same one in the nether, so I could only use it one way.
