Scorpion vs. Noob Saibot
FIGHT

The Endermen struck again. This time, they took a part of the entrance to my shelter... *shivers* I can never feel safe with them around.
Spoiler :
Especially with that bug with them taking blocks off your creation still up and running. :p

More on the Nether:

I've played too much minecraft; I see it as a substantial mark for this thread to be on page 64.

I'm planning to build a netherrealm passage to a second portal on a faraway continent, but I'm too terrified of the Ghasts. :hide:

Seriously, the enemies in Minecraft are some of the scariest enemies I have ever faced. :p

Create a cobblestone wall.

If I had the time, I'd de-obfuscate the code, re-write the code into more meaningful variables, and do things like adding Endermen to the Nether (really needs another mob, bad), getting rid of those giant mushrooms (and future mushroom biome), etc., etc., etc., only to have to redo everything when the next patch is released. :p

Notch:
By the way, I will nerf the endermen block carrying. It was a horrible idea.

I don't know if it is being axed or reduced, but should make most others happy. I for one liked the feature.

I was okay with the whole block-moving prospect since it was survival, but eh, it's Notch's choice in the matter.

Yay, now this great idea that made the world dynamic and interesting is gone thanks to a bunch of people who couldn't take a block being moved off their castle. Thanks a lot guys!

My buddies made a train station on our private server that they "ender-proofed"...by making triple cobble-walls with one-space interstices in between each layer filled with torches. The endermen would have to take out at least three walls and have the pathfinding ability to get into train station to remove the redstone circuits.

I just keep an extra stack of bricks around for emergency repairs on my mansion (which sadly looks a lot more like a barn than I thought it would on paper :().

I'd rather just make a train station to my liking. I like mobs to endanger my health and give me their loots. I don't want them to have an impact on building design.

If they start making more mobs that can affect blocks in the future (creepers, endermen, and say 3-4 other mobs that could do stuff to blocks), then it would probably appease everybody to just have an option in-game where you allow mobs but forbid mobs altering the world. It would allow for the two different styles of play (and I can see myself deciding sometimes to have a world where mobs can attack my structures, in that specific world).

I think execution was poor. If the block moving was part of something greater, as well as a way to protect structures, then I think it would of been awesome. As it is implemented right now it is random and annoying. That is one problem with SCRUM, because features are suppose to be iterated on they are often introduced "unflinished." And because minecraft is being offered mid development that can be problematic if the vision isn't shared.

What I do like about it is that it simulates unmaintained structures decaying.
