Minecraft

People have identified the third world, it is the skylands world, aka himmel :P

This game needs to be optimized.

You think? ;) :p

I've noticed on Minecraft YouTubes that the number of AIs closeby is the first thing that chugs a machine down. Your new comp should be more than adequate; I have 8 gig RAM installed with a GTX 550 Ti and haven't had much trouble other than slowdown in the horizon.

On my system, it's often crisscrossing water currents that make my system laggy (I think it was a cavern area in the first Minecraft Survival Island 1.0 from alpha).

Chieftess your computer is just old and filled with accumulated digital detritus :p Though Minecraft still could use some optimization, which I think is part of 1.9.

As for the sky world, meh, it looks rather dull though I suppose great for a Steampunk mod with flying ships.

Looks like those blue blocks (crystal blocks?) act like lightstone. Seems creepers can blow up the blocks, though.

Update on my Years of Rice & Salt city! Added some factories and an adjoining apartment to the small one, plus a large Hindu temple (or about as good as I could make from the complex designs I saw on the internet). I'm rather glad about how the temple nested very well into the river curve! You can even see that there is a way to get down to the water lever in front of the temple as a kind of Ganges river deal where worshipers can wash. The canal is progressing as I've just decided to shell the walls with cobble stone instead of having it the natural contours of the river itself. That white cloth in front of the temple is to provide a platform for when I fill that section of the canal up another block. You can see I already raised the canal's water level up in the lock. Off in the distance to the left, you can see a steamship waiting to use the locks. Otherwise, building an organic street layout is coming along fairly smoothly! Intend to build shops and more apartments behind that temple.

Spiders and creepers below, ghasts and dragons above...

Oh dear god the Enderworld. The sky looks like static. The whole thing looks like we shouldn't be there.

Classy! The smoke makes a nice touch.

Plus, are those Golden blocks I see?

Enderworld would be 100000 times awesome if it looked all static like that.

Yes indeed. This is all in Creative by the way so people don't get the wrong impression.
