MOAR trade routes

Polynesia get +2 in their capital. Trading posts give +2. Autogates (? is that what they are called?) give +1 if you choose that quest reward (and why wouldn't you?)

Is there any more ways to increase the number of trade routes?
 
Autoplants. That's what they're called.

I think that's the maximum.

I agree with OP, I think we should get unlimited trade routes per city.

Also trade routes are too weak, their yields need to be doubled.

The OP was just asking a question. I think you're just making a joke about trade routes being overpowered, but it comes off like you're making fun of what the OP said (didn't say). Throw in a winky face at least!

But no, I don't want to build infinite trade routes, I was just wondering if it's possible to get more of them, since unlike in Civ 5, I can't just scroll through the tech tree (or web) and count for 100% how many trade routes I can have, thanks to the sneaky upgrades that you only discover once you actually built a building that does not seem to be relevant to trading at all.

For example, how the hell was I supposed to figure out that after building just 1 ultrasonic fence, aliens will leave my traders alone?

Stuff like that. Say, building one obscure Harmony building at the outer edge can give you more trade route or something. But do forgive me for asking questions.
 
I believe the only quests related to trade routes are the ultrasonic fence one and the +1 trade route from the autoplant.
