I was looking for Half Life 2 reviews on GameRankings and stumbled upon this Mobile Civilizaiton III title currently under development by Com2uS, a Korea-based mobile games developer. Apparently the mobile version was announced by Atari back in August this year...

GameSpot posted four screenshots from the game last Thursday. [The archer unit in one of the screenshots looks like the Civ2 archer to me... ]

Q1 2005 is listed as the release date. Anyone interested in this mobile Civ3? ;)

For cell phones I think...

Gee TF, you sure are out of the loop... :mischief:
You could have ICQ me if you knew it and I would credit you in the news post to make you famous. :D

Anyway, I would get it if it's available for my cell phone. so far I have bought only one mobile game (Bejeweled from Jamdat).

That's a sure fire way to give every geek in the nation carpal tunnel :p

Surly it should be known as Civ: Mob or something.... it doesnt even come close to civ3!

i wonder what o/s it will be coming out for? palm/ pocket pc? I hope palm 4..then i could play at work on my 7135!!

It seems very Civ 2; I don't see any cultural borders or some of the other additions.

i think I'm gonna get a new cell phone soon... maybe I should wait and see which ones civ will be compatible with

I'm hoping they might port this to GBA or Nintendo DS...
If they did for DS they should improve the graphics (It's not important, but the DS can handle better graphics than bird's eye 2D). It could also take advantage of the touch screen.

Indeed, it would be the closest thing to using a mouse possible.

BTW, the site refuses to show me the screenshots, could someone post them all here?
