Redshift, a group specialized in developing games for mobile phones, has completed a Civilization clone (with enhanced graphics) for Nokia 9210 Communicator. You may want to check it out if you have Nokia 9210.

(I posted this news on the main site on the 8th. Thought I shoud post it here too...)

I used to play civ on an old B/W laptop, believe me it wasn't easy.
And yet I played, till very late in the night!

I used to play on my 4-color greyscale monitor. It was kinda tough to tell the civs apart. I'd spend quite a while decifering the end-of-game graph, trying to figure out which line belonged to which civ... :crazyeye:

How did you know which city and unit belonged to which civilisation? =P

That's the point, it was nearly impossible. The best was to attack everything...
I must add the trackball was nearly out of order, and, of course, there is no numbers pad.

that looks really kewl hehe

You'd end up attacking your own units lol!

Well, it's impossible(w/out bugs :)) to attack your own units. Of course you may waste movement points while chasing them lol :)

Of course, any elite civ player memorizes all their unit positions anyways ;)
