Mod/Admin of the year election.

Just for fun ,post youre top ten of mods/admins here (if there are ten of them)
I propose we keep this topic open a month long ,and then we calculate who is the winner. Call it 'The mod/admind cool top ten'
And then do it every year.

the first on youre list gets 10 points ,the second 9 ,...

And later on we'll do it for the regular users too(top 100 then) ,in sections then. (like most funny,most intelligent,most mediocre,most annoying,...)

That is ,if the mod/admin's like the idea too.
But they may vote too...

These kind of threads.....while they have good intentions...usually cause arguements, and competition between the people being ranked.

Like the threads we had "Who Likes Me"....which could turn into a flame war if someone wasn't well liked. And we said at that time, these types of threads aren't good for the forum.

I will leave it open for the time being, but I would be careful with future threads of this nature.

the SITE hasn't been here a year (Oct 24, '00) so you really can't do anything annual yet.

I have only been here since April 10, '01 so maybe in a year I could vote because I would have a year worth of Mod

under my belt.

However, since I

all moderators equally, I would refrain from such a contest.

CornMaster and I have been discussing this, and we both agree to leave it open for now, as long as it stays being fun, and does not degenerate into a whine fest or a name calling exercise.

If we detect the smell of excessive spam, it's history, and you guys know I'm not kidding when I say that.

However, I also like to have fun, and so let the voting commence!

But remember, we will be watching.

a very open-minded gesture ,i thank the admin's for not killing this topic.

I decided to do it differently ,having the admin's in a top ten would be to much work
and it's not fun for the admin who stands 10'th all the time.

So instead you give youre favourite.
Just one. The admin who get's the most vote's wins.

For the short time i have been here i noticed that alcibiaties views mostly go along with my'n.
i even tottaly agree with his signature.

I also like my Macintosh 14.4k MODem.

Yeah, GenghisK, weren't you really disappointed with Lotus 2? The first one was brilliant, but in trying to soup up number 2 I think they ruined it. I didn't even bother with no. 3.

While I'm not particularly partial to any one mod over the others, as is the case with most CFC members I'm sure. I would like to make a nod to Cornmaster for his "I AM CANADIAN" signature. It's nice to see that living south of the border, you have managed to avoid being brainwashed

This site predates the switch to the UBB forum by several months. The only OFFICIAL pesonages I recall from before the forum change over were Thunderfall (of course) Sun Tzu (Gregorious Lux then) and Austin the Great. I cannot recall if TTG took over the Civ1 section before or after 10/24/00.

YEAH!!! Canaidian's rule!! I have a large, almost full sized flag at home that I fly on Canada Day. I also have my mini-flag that I take to work each day. (I don't dare leave it here....it would be taken!!)
