Any good ideas how to approach this? It's something I could really see getting folded into a lot of existing mods and I wouldent mind including it in my own one that I'm working on.
The inspiration is of course from the hard rocking "fall from heaven" mod with its unique terrain features such as that tree of life and ancient temples. Wouldent it be cool to create 5 or 10 natural wonders and have 3 to 6 of them show up on the map based on its size like they do in fall from heaven?
What I'm thinking is that these are terrains you cannot build on but they give you a good culture boost and/or money, productivity or resources.
Examples:
Mount Everest: an altered mountain mesh that replaces one of the mountains on the map providing a mild cultural boost or something.
Brea Tar Pits: an oil slick made slightly bigger with some bones sticking out. Produces extra science after biology.
Any thoughts?
