Mod Megapolises - Add-on to SevoMod 3

I suppose it is difficult to manage citizens manually on 1024x768 resolution. Rely on the governors, though this is not the best solution.

I haven't tried this on 1024x768 resolution yet, but if even a small part of a tile is in the city interface area (so that you can click on it), you can manage it.

I know what you mean, I can see about one millimeter
of the upper tiles but it's not enough, I read somewhere
that the city view zoom ratio can be changed by altering a specific definition in one of the XML files.

Any idea ?
 
Version 1.2 is released!

I played several games in Immortal/Realism/Large and should say I don't want to change something any more for the present.

For changes see the first post.

Although there are two small problems that I couldn't fix.

1) In 1024x768 resolution it is impossible to manage uppermost three citizens manually. There should be some parameter that changes zoom in the city screen.

2) When you start the game from Custom Game menu, you have acces to all five game speeds, so it's Ok. But if you proceed through Play Game menus, you will see only three of them. Where can I change the size of the Play Game wizzard screens?

If somebody could explain me this that'd be great!

For playing at 1024X768 resolution I'v changed GlobalDefines.xml as follows:

<DefineName>CAMERA_CITY_ZOOM_IN_DISTANCE</DefineName>
<fDefineFloatVal>3500</fDefineFloatVal>

to 4000 or 4250 per RogerBacon suggestion.

Now for the begging - will make your mod compatible to SEVO 3.1

As to SEVO 3.1, I think it is difficult to make this mod compatible to it, because of DLL... :(
 
I've tried installing this add-on but when my city culture reaches 3-squares and beyond, I still can't access the third rows to work on (they're greyed out as per the standard game). Do I have to do anything in particular or research something?

Please dont give up? Its a great mod, I would like to see it on sevo 3.1, nobody can helps him? Maybe Sevo himself??

Hamsterman, you get the 3-squares city ability just by placing CvGameCoreDLL.dll in your Mods\Sevomod\Assets folder. All other files are just for game ballancing and other funny staff. So all you have to do is to make sure that you have CvGameCoreDLL.dll in Mods\Sevomod\Assets folder and this file is identical to that from the archive.

And make sure that you are playing with SEVO mod 3.0.

If you are still have a problem, please, attach your saved game.
 
I think a mild pressure on Fujisan should be timed towards Sevo's release of his Warlords compatible mod.

One should always hope, shouldn't I ?
 
Sorry for them who still have not CivIV Warlords, but I don't plan on continue the development of Megapolises Mod for vanila. If I do some modding, it will be for Warlords.
 
How do I install this exactly? Since the latest version of Servo Mod is for Vanilla, and this is for Warlords?
