Unit Maker
This is a project I've been working on for the last few months. The goal of the project was to add a great deal of unit diversity to the later eras (pre-industrial through modern) in the same way that Rabbit, White's Ethnic Diversity mod has.
So far it incorperates nearly all of my units, all of the Ethnic Units Mod, as well as all of the modern aircraft/armor/ and infantry units from other creaters; most notable Sharick and Nautil. So far well over 100 new units have been added. All added units have appropriate civilopedia entries, descriptions, and buttons.
In order to best balance the flood of new late-era units, I created several new classes of aircraft, armor and ships. I desperately need testers to help me make sure that all of the gameplay changes are ballanced correctly and make sence. I've been able to do some basic testing myself, but it's been mostly focussed around making sure the new graphics work well together.
I see this as an ongoing project to create a base of units that don't greatly effect gameplay from the stock Civ4 and Warlords games. Ultimately I would like to see this come to the point where people wanting to create a mod don't have to dig through pages of unit posts to find what they want or add them into their XML. Instead they would use this mod as a base for their further XML, python, or SDK changes. It would also ensure that the units are added correctly, with the proper animations, scale, and a good amount of historical accuracy.
All that said, here are some previews of the units included in the mod:
Early Tanks:

Early Armored Cars:

Light Tanks:

Medium Tanks:

Heavy Tanks:

Tank Destroyers/Mobile Artillery

Armor & Modern Armor:

Modern Infantry Vehicles:

Early Aircraft:

Fighters:

Fighter-Bombers:

Bombers:

Modern Aircraft:

Warships:

Nuclear Submarines:

[Please note that the units shown are not shown in the same scale in the previews. In the game, they are all scaled correctly]
Some units not shown in the previews, but that are included are:
-Revised FT17, w/ a reduced polycount and in 3 versions; French, US, and Spanish (Early Tank Class)
-T55A1 (Armor Class)
-M60A2 (Armor Class)
-DDG-1000 (Future/Modern Destroyer)
-Balloon (By Chamaedrys)
-Mig 21 replaced by Su 27/37 By Nautil
-Stug3B tank destroyer (By Asioasioasio)
-Many new units from Vanilla- and Warlords- Scenarios
Units included that have not previously been released that are (or will be) included:
-US 'Brooklyn' Class Cruiser
-German Z-Class Destroyer
-US 'Liberty' Cargo Ship (replaces transport)
-Japanese 'Kagero' Class Destroyer
-French 'Dunkerque' Class Battleship
-US M4A3 'Sherman' Medium Tank
-Soviet T55A1 Armor
-US M60A3 Armor
-British Rolls Royce WW1 Armored Car
-Clipper Ship
-DDG-1000 Modern/Future US Destroyer
So, any takers for testing? Please PM me if you are interested in testing. The only requirement is that you have Warlords, as at the moment that's the version that is farthest along. Don't worry, in time a vanilla version will be released for everyone who doesn't have Warlords.
For anyone who also wants to help out in general, with suggestions, unit graphics, or anything, post here or PM me.
