It may sound dirty, but it's not. The fortieth episode of ModCast is now netcasting. Entitled "Reboning", it features core panelists Tony "GarretSidzaka" Kiehl, Kenneth "Impaler[WrG]" Ferland, Peter "Maniac" Steenbeke and Wouter "Locutus" Snijders with first-time guest co-host Tony "The Capo" R.

ModCast is an audio production in an ongoing effort to give the Civ community an interactive voice on game modding; sibling show PolyCast focuses on Civ strategy and RevCast focuses on Civilization: Revolution.

I have to apologize for the crappyness of my mic, and my sporadic comments, I was drunk and watching football when we recorded this.

Neat, another one. I'll have to listen to it when I get time.
I think you linked to the wrong thing for The_J's and Melendor's modcomp. It links to a C3 WW2 Russian plane made by neither of them and uploaded in 2006.

ROTFL :rotfl:
yeah the last digit was cut off the url, sending us to this ancient artwork. it has been fixed and thank you very much :b:

I would like a link to the episode with the most drunk person on it, please.

That would be funny.

LOL dont worry. we didnt bite.........much ;)

No, i've meant, that i never wanted this to come back to the surface again.
It's not good, it slows down the game dramatically, it cripples the AI, and it's not completly done.

When done in the SDK, it would speed up the game AFAIK. As you say, there are problems with the current implementation, but the concept is good IMO.

Anyway everyone, since this was recorded I put out about 12 new LHs and my mod has its own sub-forum now. Check my signature for both of the links. We didn't really get into a lot of the specifics of what the mod will offer, but the sub-forum has plenty of information. :goodjob:

You guys don't play RFC and/or RFC Rand? You can play RFC RAND on small maps!
Maniac, play that first and comment again.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip! My initial prejudiced opinion would be though that I probably won't like it, as RFC kinda has the reputation of "In Soviet Russia, the game plays you!" rather than the other way around, and judging from reading the forum from time to time for many people the "fun" of RFC seems to be circumvent or minimize the inevitable fall of your civilization. Sounds too gamish IMO.
