Does the .dds file need any special alpha channel, or does an empty alpha work fine. Oh, and is there a max size for the pictures?

Is 256x256 the only size allowed, or are larger or small pics allowed?

I don't know about that but I make sure my images are 256x256 so they are easy to convert to the correct dds-format. Maybe 128x128 would work too.
On I side note, my first images were 512x512 but in game they were definitely not displayed as 512x512, so I decided to shrink them down to 256x256.

I still can not get my images to work. If my sources were incorrect, I would get schema errors loading, right? So it isn't my source code. I've added the Eventart line to the eventschema, and if I had done that wrong, I would get XML load errors. Since I get none, I assume I don't think that's wrong. My XML eventtrigger has the <EventArt>Art/EventImages/Test.dds</EventArt> line added. I get no errors whatsoever loading my mod. So I assume it's working right. Yet, when I trigger the event, no image.
What could I be doing wrong?

I suspect it has to do with your dds.

I just tried that one, no luck. Maybe it was an error with compiling...
Your Sources... Did you have to make any changes to them to get them to work with 3.19, (I changed a few header files, deleting the DLLExport starts) or did you leave the source exactly the same?

It's been a while but I merged the 3 SDK-files, then updated the Eventschema.xml and then the triggerinfos.xml. That's all iirc.

That's never going to happen. Event Images takes SDK changes, which Zappara won't make.
Btw, I think you should consider adding in Great Persons with Images I found in QC. I forgot which modcomp Avain got it from. you should merge that into your modmod pack
Eh, I never found them that appealing. You can if you want though...
