Looks cool, I wasn't sure what to expect from the thread title (I had a vision of a modern soldier with the standard Civ3 Warrior's axe ). Is the vest civ-color or actually red?

Vest is civ color. Had to use a red palette due to the beret being blue.

OK. Posted a no civ color version. This pretty much blew my weekend. I don't think I'll be making dual units very often.

Little correction - It is one of failed prototypes of new Modern Russian uniform called "Barmitsa", regular modern russian soldiers look like this now:

Very good, Gary! The only thing makes me hesitating about paratrooper - is a contrast. It's very sharp and makes a unit close to the game's regular units, if compared to units from Sandris.
Anyway, it's very good and very useful, so THANK YOU! I hope we'll see more modern troopers?
