Your help would be great and essential Tanelorn, I had sent a private warning, bringing your offering is perfect. Would require the Turkish and Greek fleet, artillery and any unit I do not know who is: Philhellenes, Dm.Hepselantis ... I can earn enough space evens, and will include many more Turkish troops in successive invasions, to make it more difficult. To see how it looks.
That second Vietnam War file up there is looking very sharp, gapetit! Funny (and tragic) thing is, I had lost the original MGE copy of that scenario I had made so long ago. Is it on the SL, or did you find it elsewhere, or have it from when I had a standing post with a download link back on Apolyton?
The Greek regular army as it was in the last years of the war, established by Governor John Capodistrias and led by D.Ypsilantis, up to Capodistria's assasination and the Viceroyalty period that followed it.
Spectacular units. I think I will modify the event to late 1827 have access to these enhanced troops. However, there are already from the beginning a regular troop: what use: Tacticon or Typicon? Or something different?
Thanks, P. Tacticon is actual regular infantry, Typicon is former guerilla band fighters armed with modern weapons and given uniforms. I understand people would "graduate" from Typicon to Tacticon.
Wali Ibrahim Pasha of Egypt's invasion force, that landed at Morea in 1825. Trained and led by veterans of the Grande Armee, they almost snuffed out the revolution, where the sultan's armies had failed, one after the other. Navarino changed everything.
His later roster of the 1831 war against the sultan in Syria included "cataphracts" (cuirassiers) not suitable here.
He had previously smashed the emerging Wahabi Saudis in the Hejaz, btw.
Here is the Philhellenes unit. Literally "friends of the Greeks", volunteers from all over Europe and beyond. Any mix of napoleonic and civillian attire would do. I chose this neutral one, and the flag with the Phi letter is my idea, you don't have to use it.

I've come a long way with your units. Regular and Light infantry Typicon be from the beginning. Regular Tacticon and Lancer from turn 83: Kapodistrias first Governor of Greece.
Thanks guys!
Being nitpicky, , I had to make the contigent of regulars led by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Nicolas_Fabvier between 1825 and 1828. They played a major role in the siege of the Acropolis and participated in several operations.
These were raised specifically to counter the Egyptian invasion.
On further research this is the uniform of the 2nd army, the 3rd one had a fez instead.
Perfect unity: I already have included in the scenario: turn = 49 (Egyptian regulars invade Greece), which will come with technology Fabvier's Regulars -X5-. This unit is replaced on turn 83 (X6) with new regular units.
Spot on. In many ways Byron was the original "rockstar" of romaticism; sex, drugs & poetry...
On the other end of the spectum, the leader of the controversial Mavromichalis clan, leader of the Maniots: Petros Mavromichalis. His clansmen assassinated Kapodistrias and he was showered with honours by the Viceroyalty that replaced him...
